Ginty Supply Co. Family Owned and Operated for Over 60 Years in Northern California     

Our Story began in 1947, when John F. Ginty, Sr., returning from World War II, began selling plumbing supplies to the local contractors in the Walnut Creek area. From the trunk of his car, John would go directly to jobsites to deliver and take orders. On November 22, 1948, Ginty Supply Co. was officially founded and opened on Mnt. Diablo Blvd. Walnut Creek, CA. For the next 40 years, John Ginty provided the burgeoning Walnut Creek/Contra Costa area with quality materials and service which earned his company its excellent reputation. All the while, John's son, John Jr., worked beside his dad and learned the business from the inside and out. In 1975, Ginty's expanded with John Jr. openening Ginty Supply of Auburn, 3900 Grass Vally Hwy, focusing on providing locals in Placer County and the outlying areas with quality plumbing, heating, and electrical supplies for their building, remodeling and repair needs. Ginty's of Auburn continues in the family tradition of offering knowledgeable service and obtaining "hard-to-find" and specialty products for its customers, hence, the slogan: "Ginty's Got It!"
